The paper, "Encountering Friction, Understanding Crises: How Do Digital Natives Make Sense of Crisis Maps?", explores how young audiences engage with crisis visualizations, identifyingkey sensemaking activities and challenges. By analyzing online comments and conducting interviews, we explore acitivity patterns and discuss implications for the design and implementation of crisis maps.
