VDA helped in making graphs accessible for the new website of the Parliament

Eiman Ahangarebrahimi, as part of his forthcoming Master Thesis, helped develop and user test a number of graphics that were just revealed as part of the new website of the Austrian Parliament.

The challenge was to find visual depictions that are accessible to a broad audience, the Austrian Public. The data showcases the Open Data efforts of the parliament. The stories were developed in collaboration with political scientists Sylvia Kritzinger, Laurenz Ennser-Jedenastik, and Isabel Kiani. Eiman's work was supervised by Laura Kösten and Torsten Möller.
